Have you been coming to class regularly but every time an inversion is offered you aren’t sure how to come in to headstand safely? Maybe you’ve been scared to try? Well my friends, this is the workshop for you! In this two hour practice, we shall work through an invigorating yoga flow designed to prepare the body to get upside down.

Have you been coming to class regularly but every time an inversion is offered you aren’t sure how to come in to headstand safely? Maybe you’ve been scared to try? Maybe there’s not been enough time in class to fully comprehend the mechanics of the movement? Maybe you’ve been trying to get upside down for a while but struggle to maintain balance?

Well my friends, this is the workshop for you! In this two hour practice, we shall work through an invigorating yoga flow designed to prepare the body to get upside down. We shall spend considerable time coming to understand how to position the body in order to give you the optimal alignment whilst shifting your perspective. Multiple options, variations and potential progressions shall be offered in the hope that you can finally unlock your headstand!

Headstands are a wonderful shape to practice, not only are they a fun challenge but they increase focus, spatial awareness and allow us to experience in the world in a different way. By the end of the two hours, you shall have the confidence to headstand away from the wall in a class!

Looking to start yoga but aren’t sure where to begin? Worried you aren’t flexible enough? Or don’t have the time? Let me answer all those questions for you, and welcome you to this 4 week Beginners Yoga course!

We’ll go right back to basics and take things at a steady pace, where you are free to arrive just as you are, with absolutely zero previous experience needed. Join us in our cosy studio overlooking the lake, where everyone gathers to support one another, take time for themselves and leave outside pressures and responsibilities at the door.

Mats & blocks are provided for you, plus there will be herbal teas to welcome you as you arrive and settle in to your new yoga journey.

Root to Rise 1-1 Experience

A brand new tailored one to one experience, a massage for mind, body and soul, nestled in the plant-filled sanctuary of Nelly Mosa on Castle Road.

These unique one to one sessions create an opportunity for you to understand how you feel on a physiological level, by quietly observing your nervous system and the signals it is sending you at all times. We take time to reflect on how your circulatory, respiratory and digestive systems how been functioning, as well as your sleep pattern and body temperature regulation. Featuring an in depth nervous system check in, discussing whether you need up regulating or down regulating, in order to bring you back to your ‘home base’.

Followed by an essential oil protocol of either; Geranium to promote self love, Eucalyptus to promote Expansion or Balance to promote grounding. All accompanied by nourishing breath work, intelligent movement exploration and lots of hands on assists.

Throughout the hour, Lauren will softly guide you through the entire process, through mindful reflection and spoken word. You are invited to melt in to the mat and exist exactly as you are, knowing that is enough.

Each one to one experience follows a rough structure but is intuitively tailored towards the individual. You arrive with your intention, and Lauren shall listen to this and expertly create an experience tailored to be exactly what you need.

These experiences are suited to be booked monthly as a regular check in. It’s so easy get caught up in the hustle and bustle of life without fully registering our felt-sense experience. It is highly recommended to schedule in your monthly respite and continue to move through each day feeling grounded, centred and regulated.
