Looking to start yoga but aren’t sure where to begin? Worried you aren’t flexible enough? Or don’t have the time? Let me answer all those questions for you, and welcome you to this 4 week Beginners Yoga course!
We’ll go right back to basics and take things at a steady pace, where you are free to arrive just as you are, with absolutely zero previous experience needed. Join us in our cosy studio overlooking the lake, where everyone gathers to support one another, take time for themselves and leave outside pressures and responsibilities at the door.
Mats & blocks are provided for you, plus there will be herbal teas to welcome you as you arrive and settle in to your new yoga journey.
Yoga in the Jungle!
Head on down to Nelly Mosa, a beautiful plant filled haven on Castle Road, where we’ll create a cosy little nest amongst the glorious array of plants, and move through an hour’s vinyasa practice, including a transformative meditation & invigorating breath work.
On certain Saturdays during the Summer months, each practice will focus on a different essential oil, recognising these as gifts from the earth, much like the gorgeous plants we are surrounded by:
Sat 1st June – Frankincense – Magnificence
Sat 22nd June – Eucalyptus – Expansion
Sat 6th July – Vetiver – Grounding
Sat 20th July – Magnolia – Reassurance
Sat 10th Aug – Grapefruit – Body Love
Sat 31st Aug – Manuka – Resilience
Sat 14th Sept – Wild Orange – Joy
Sat 5th Oct – Cedarwood – Grounded Strength
Nelly Mosa is a beautiful plant filled haven on Castle Road where we shall gather for a grounding Earth elemental flow. We’ll create a cosy little nest amongst the glorious array of plants, and move through an hour’s vinyasa practice.
Bare in mind that space is very limited, and the sequence will be tailored to be a prop-less practice. You are welcome to bring your own blocks and other equipment if you wish but please do make sure to bring a mat!
Calm Collective Collaboration
Join us for the return of the very special Calm Collective Collaboration between Lauren Aimée and the lovely Danielle from Cox Salon. As always we’ll be under the soft glow of the fairy lights, immersed in the scent of incense burning and a special essential oil blend in the diffuser. Danielle will once again also guiding us through a glorious self massage, incorporating carefully selected oils and there will be moments throughout the practice where there is the option to receive assisted touch in some of the shapes we take.
Each event brings a new theme for us to explore as we softly dive into our inner sanctuary within, quietening any external noise and creating space for us to truly rest. Without expectation and with minimal effort, we invite you to sink into the mat and allow us to hold space for you.
As you arrive, ground yourself with a herbal tea, and after the practice, there is no need to rush and leave the space. These evenings are a night to cherish and come home to yourself.
Cacao Ceremony with Rebecca!
Settle in for a Sunday afternoon of pure chocolate indulgence and deep rest. Join Rebecca, as she guides us through an insightful meditation, with the assistance of Ritual Cacao, to invite you to come home to yourself in ceremony. We drink cacao, the purest form of chocolate and soak up its heart healing and medicinal benefits. Cards and intentions will be pulled and set in order to bring forth focus and clarity.
Cacao can help us to reconnect with our inner nature, opening up to the heart, healing any blockages, emotional wounds and disconnection. Backbend Workshop
Backbends are a beautiful, invigorating practice, they allow us to find freedom in the body but we understand it’s common to fear these kind of shapes. For some of us they might feel quite comfortable in our bodies, but we need more core awareness, for others we might feel quite restricted in that direction of motion, but perhaps its us that could really benefit from back bending.
he first hour of the practice will be dedicated to preparing the heart space to open, perhaps even using a little eucalyptus oil to help create a sense of expansion. You can expect shoulder and spinal mobility, creative sequencing combining moments of strength as well as deep stretch and after a short break, the second hour will be dedicated to exploring certain shapes more closely.
