For the third year running, Lauren Aimée is so pleased to be hosting this extra special Teen Yoga Mini Retreat.
During the Easter break, we will gather in the beautiful Verve Wellness Studio, for 2 hours of mindful yoga, card readings and essential oil creations!
This is a wonderful opportunity for teens to take the time out of their busy social lives and hectic school timetables to focus on themselves.
No previous yoga experience is necessary!
It’s finally making a return! Join us for an afternoon of soft silky movement, learning a creative sequence to music, combining all my love for yoga and dance in one magical event!
No dance experience is necessary, yet some yoga experience is advised. Due to the nature of this event, I wouldn’t recommend this for complete beginners.
In this workshop you are encouraged to move from a place within, there is no need to perform, and there is no pressure to be perfect. As we learn the sequence, we allow the music and the breath just gently carry us through some creative transitions, uplifting movements. Expect this to be a practice like no other!
Join Natalie, a local and upcoming Bedfordshire artist, for a 2 hour mindful art workshop in the calming surroundings of Box End Park, turning our cosy yoga studio into an artist’s workshop!
Using a colour palette inspired by the waterfront view, learn painting techniques that Natalie uses to create your own unique female form artwork on canvas.
All equipment and templates are provided, as well as 1:1 guidance throughout. All abilities welcome!
Due to our first two courses of 2024 selling out, we are offering a third opportunity for you to begin your yoga journey this year!
Looking to start yoga but aren’t sure where to begin? Worried you aren’t flexible enough? Or don’t have the time? Let me answer all those questions for you, and welcome you to this 4 week Beginners Yoga course!
We’ll go right back to basics and take things at a steady pace, where you are free to arrive just as you are, with absolutely zero previous experience needed. Join us in our cosy studio overlooking the lake, where everyone gathers to support one another, take time for themselves and leave outside pressures and responsibilities at the door.
Mats & blocks are provided for you, plus there will be herbal teas to welcome you as you arrive and settle in to your new yoga journey.
Backbends are a beautiful, invigorating practice, they allow us to find freedom in the body but we understand it’s common to fear these kind of shapes. For some of us they might feel quite comfortable in our bodies, but we need more core awareness, for others we might feel quite restricted in that direction of motion, but perhaps its us that could really benefit from back bending.
he first hour of the practice will be dedicated to preparing the heart space to open, perhaps even using a little eucalyptus oil to help create a sense of expansion. You can expect shoulder and spinal mobility, creative sequencing combining moments of strength as well as deep stretch and after a short break, the second hour will be dedicated to exploring certain shapes more closely.
